I've uploaded my con photos on my photobucket account! See them here: [link] - also there are photos of some of the drawings I did there, which I'll be cleaning and uploading for your viewing pleasure here whenever I get around to it.

Hi everyone!
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who stopped by my table at the ConnectiCon last weekend, and also thank everyone who finds their way here because of it.
Anyway, now that I've gotten back, spent a day being a zombie to recover, and spent another day at work, I am starting to go through all of my stuff from the con and doing some uploading and all. Expect to see some art from there uploaded soon, as well as a bunch of photos on my photobucket and my newest additions to the Giant Binder of Arra Art (tm) coming in the next week or two (i.e. whenever I get around to scanning). I'll post links once it's all good to go, of course.
Thanks again, everyone! Hope to see you next 'con!

Hi again! And Happy Thanksgiving to those of you who celebrate it (to those of you who don't, have a happy non-holiday day instead). Well, with Thanksgiving being tomorrow and all, I pretty much have only 2.5 weeks until the fall semester ends... art school likes to eat my life! I have a whole bunch of projects to finish in those few weeks, but once that's over, I figure I'll spend some time doing some of that original fantasy art that I enjoy so much (and maybe, if bored, I'll scan a few of the figure studies I've done this semester or something).
This brings me to my point: I'm looking for inspiration, ideas, whatever. As long as it's a) fantasy and b) reasonable, I'll try and draw it (a coutionary note: I'd prefer not to do fanart or draw anyone else's characters... makes copyright issues much easier if I try to sell prints at a con or something). I'm mostly looking to do small pieces (ranging between ACEO size and maybe 8x10, tops), probably in colored pencil (because it makes me happy...though I may use graphite pencil or even pen if I feel like it), and I'm thoroughly willing to give anything a shot, even if I've never drawn it before and it turns out crappy. Call it a learning experience. So.... start throwing suggestions at me, people!!
Also, to my friends who want a Christmas card from me this year, send me a note with your mailing address.
Take care, all!

Greetings to the people who've stumbled by here as a result of meeting me at CTCon! It was wonderful meeting you all and I hope you had as wonderful a time as I did. To those of you who ordered prints, I'll be printing and mailing them out over the next week or so, so don't let your mail stay out in the rain!
For everyone else, I'll be uploading some photos of commissions I did while I was at the con as soon as I get them onto a computer wth internet access (read: laptop is currently malfunctioning, desktop has no good software and a broken keyboard).
If you're interested in commissioning me but ran out of cash at the con, or hadn't decided to until just now, send a note my way or email me at wengera@sacredheart.edu and we'll talk....or type. You know.
I am now suffering from post-con exhaustion, so I be going to sleep now. Or maybe to read some fanfiction. Who knows.
Someone remind me to drag my sorry rear down to Sared Heart's IT-land tomorrw so they can make my laptop work.
Much Love,

Yes, indeed. I have returned from the people-eating abyss known only as art school, and am back to sporadically post stuff. I apologize to those of you who've missed me (I missed you all, too!), but I really did have to put my schoolwork first and all.
In any case, I intend to upload a bunch of old work that I failed to produce before, then, whenever I find time, scan some of the stuff I've done over the semester, and all that jazz.
Also been making a lot of jewelry as of late, so I may photograph some of that and display that, too.
Those of you who have me on their watch lists, expect to see your devwatch flooded by me over the next week or so!
Take care, all!

Happ New Year, all!
-------------------------------------------------
Well. Welcome to my lovely little space of Deviousness and such. Glad you stopped by, please leave a comment even if you hate me, because it makes me feel loved. Go figure. *grins*
Anyway. A few things:
1. I am one of those jacks of all trades and master of none. Hence the "Varied Artist" label.
2. I am crazy. You have been warned.
3. A few clubs to which I belong and/or recommend:
5. Did you notice there's no 4?

In the event that I ever wake up fully, I'll be uploading a bunch of photos and some art I made at the con, as well as scans of all the pieces I got from other people
Thanks again for stopping by and saying hi!

I do always take lots of photos of cosplayers, though, so if you get a chance to stop by my table, I'd love to get a few shots of you & anyone you're with!
On an unrelated note, do you mind if I ask your opinion on what sort of items you think you (or people in general) would like to see the artists offering for sale?
