(Because I only keep one journal entry and edit it)
What the heck, dA? I nearly had a heart attack when I saw my entire profile had been changed to support Team Jacob. (Esp. since I really don't care about Twilight). I changed my password and everything in a panic, hoping I could stop whoever hacked my account before I had a disaster like the last time someone got access to one of my profiles.
And then I realized it was April Fool's Day. NOT COOL. AT. ALL.
I don't mind a harmless prank every now and then, but to someone whose had their web security compromised before, what I woke up to today is absolutely terrifying.
Again, to reiterate:
I am not happy!
I've uploaded my con photos on my photobucket account! See them here: s13.photobucket.com/albums/a27…
- also there are photos of some of the drawings I did there, which I'll be cleaning and uploading for your viewing pleasure here whenever I get around to it.
Cookies are your friends,
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who stopped by my table at the ConnectiCon last weekend, and also thank everyone who finds their way here because of it.
You guys rock!
Anyway, now that I've gotten back, spent a day being a zombie to recover, and spent another day at work, I am starting to go through all of my stuff from the con and doing some uploading and all. Expect to see some art from there uploaded soon, as well as a bunch of photos on my photobucket and my newest additions to the Giant Binder of Arra Art (tm) coming in the next week or two (i.e. whenever I get around to scanning). I'll post links once it's all good to go, of course.
Thanks again, everyone! Hope to see you next 'con!
Hi again! And Happy Thanksgiving to those of you who celebrate it (to those of you who don't, have a happy non-holiday day instead). Well, with Thanksgiving being tomorrow and all, I pretty much have only 2.5 weeks until the fall semester ends... art school likes to eat my life! I have a whole bunch of projects to finish in those few weeks, but once that's over, I figure I'll spend some time doing some of that original fantasy art that I enjoy so much (and maybe, if bored, I'll scan a few of the figure studies I've done this semester or something).
This brings me to my point: I'm looking for inspiration, ideas, whatever. As long as it's a) fantasy and b) reasonable, I'll try and draw it (a coutionary note: I'd prefer not to do fanart or draw anyone else's characters... makes copyright issues much easier if I try to sell prints at a con or something). I'm mostly looking to do small pieces (ranging between ACEO size and maybe 8x10, tops), probably in colored pencil (because it makes me happy...though I may use graphite pencil or even pen if I feel like it), and I'm thoroughly willing to give anything a shot, even if I've never drawn it before and it turns out crappy. Call it a learning experience. So.... start throwing suggestions at me, people!!
Also, to my friends who want a Christmas card from me this year, send me a note with your mailing address.
Take care, all!
Well. Welcome to my lovely little space of Deviousness and such. Glad you stopped by, please leave a comment even if you hate me, because it makes me feel loved. Go figure. *grins*
Anyway. A few things:
1. I am one of those jacks of all trades and master of none. Hence the "Varied Artist" label.
2. I am crazy. You have been warned.
3. A few clubs to which I belong and/or recommend:
5. Did you notice there's no 4?
